Day 1 Welcome to Tanzania
- Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to the vibrant city of Arusha. Nestled in a lush, fertile landscape at the base of Mount Meru, Arusha offers a captivating mix of bustling city life and serene natural beauty. The city is the perfect gateway to begin your Tanzanian adventure.
Day 2 Tarangire National Park
- After a hearty breakfast, we set out for the breathtaking Tarangire National Park. Known for its stunning landscapes of acacia woodlands and iconic African baobab trees, the park runs along the lifeline of the Tarangire River. During the dry season, the river attracts a variety of wildlife, creating excellent game-viewing opportunities. Here, you’ll witness one of Africa’s largest elephant populations and encounter rare species like the Greater Kudu, Fringed-eared Oryx, and the elusive Ashy Starling. After a picnic lunch, we continue the adventure with an afternoon game drive.
Day 3 Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, we journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, with a stop at the fascinating Olduvai Gorge. This archaeological treasure trove is where fossils of early human ancestors were discovered, offering a glimpse into the distant past. There’s also an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you can engage with Tanzania's most iconic ethnic group. As we arrive at our luxury-tented camp, we enjoy a game drive, immersing ourselves in the awe-inspiring landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti.
Day 4 Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater
- After an early breakfast, spend your morning on a game drive through the Serengeti, continuing your wildlife adventure. Later, we make our way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll witness dramatic scenery and incredible wildlife as we drive en route to our lodge.
Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater
- Following breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Here, you’ll embark on a six-hour game drive through this unique, enclosed ecosystem, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, from rhinos to lions and much more. This unforgettable experience is the perfect finale to your Tanzanian safari.
